Designer Sergio Silva created the Oyule Light Bulbs. Sergio Silva is an industrial designer known for beautiful works of art that combine simplicity with contemporary pieces. The Oyule Light Bulbs are described by Sergio as the modern day light bulb that has travelled back in time.
The Oyule Light Bulbs are created using aluminum, earth magnets, fiberglass wicks, paraffin oil, and of course, light bulbs. Each bulb is filled with non-flammable paraffin oil and a magnet is also placed inside the bulb to ensure that it will stay upright and won’t be a fire hazard.
Sergio has other interesting designs as well, such as a chess set that uses a range of shapes and materials. The Oyule Light Bulbs will be sold for $650 and the bulbs are considered a limited edition. The Oyule Light Bulbs are quite expensive, but the bulb design is hand made and comes with a certificate of authenticity. There will only be 66 sets of the Oyule Light Bulbs. The Oyule Light Bulbs will make an interesting center or conversation piece for someone that is interested in industrial design art that is modern, elegant, and smart.
