NorthFaceiPod Jacket

Screw the THE.  The North Face just sounds too pretentious.  Two new North Face jackets have surfaced with exterior iPod controls so you don’t have to be futzing around with exposed hands this winter. Looking a little different from each other, the Femophonic Women’s jacket and the Men’s Hustle Audio jacket are nothing new exactly, they now just have North Face branding.  Each jacket uses the CONNECTEDwear system to allow you to connect your iPod to the inside of your coat while controlling it from the outside.  Easy as pie, or like Sunday morning. On sale now for a freezer burning $350 a piece.

An iPod dock provides a convenient way to charge and sync an iPhone or iPod. There are numerous iPod docks on the market, however, most people are interested in purchasing docks that are creative-looking while still providing an effective charge.

A company called Speakal created the miSoccer iPod dock.  The CEO created the docks as homage to the World Cup Championship.  The company wanted to introduce an innovative and quality audio product by releasing the miSoccer iPod dock.

The miSoccer iPod docks works like every other speaker, the only exception is it looks like a soccer ball or football depending on where you’re located in the world.

The dock has a self-contained 2.1 sound system.  It also has a 15 W subwoofer as well as two full range drivers for stereo sound.  The dock’s best feature is the 23+ watts of high quality sound that it’s able to produce.

The miSoccer iPod dock is perfect for sports fans are children who like to play soccer.  It is possible to charge any iPod model with the miSoccer dock, but there’s still speculation on whether or not the dock is compatible with the iPhone.

The miSoccer iPod dock can be used with DVD players, mobile phones, MP3 players, and PMP thanks to a 3.5mm jack.  It also has a remote control.

The dock is available and three color combinations — black and white, red and white, or blue and white.  Consumers can expect to pay about $120 for the iPod dock.

While I’ll reserve my judement on sound quality until I get my hands on one of what Vestalife calls their ‘iconic’ speakers system, their latest line of bug inspired speaker systems do posses an attractive facade that will get most performing a head turn.

The Ladybug II is an upgrade version of their first Ladybug and adds better electronics, stronger bass and a ported subwoofer.

mini-bomb-speaker

I really hope this item doesn’t cause an uproar at the airport, though I’m sure some fool will whip this out and say “what do you think of my bomb” once on board.  For those of you who like to share what’s on you iPod or iPhone with strangers and friends without swapping earwax you might want to give this bomb a looksy. The fuse is your input jack and the little bomb speaker has a internal rechargeable battery that will last for 4 hours.  Since it is powered I’m guessing it might not sound like total crap.  On sale now for $22.
